SHARE Program
This is a project sponsored by Catholic Charities with the expressed purpose of reaching out to those who otherwise might have difficulty meeting proper nutrition and health standards. Catholic Charities has opened the program to all interested organizations. Ms. Dewana Horton met with the sponsors of the program, obtained appropriate approvals and now for the past ten years, Turner has been a distribution site. During the ten year period, Turner's program has received numerous awards for excellence. Several stalwart, committed members administer the program with good humor and zeal. Handling bulky food items and waiting for persons to claim their orders sometimes become very trying, but they do it to the Honor and Glory of God. Committee members are few. One of their main goals is to recruit new and younger members for the work.
