Rev. Rosemarie Jones is a native of Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late Rev. Dr. Robert and Ernestine G. Jones. She was educated in the District of Columbia Public Schools. Earned the Bachelor of Music Education degree from Howard University, Washington, D.C., and the Masters of Arts degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of the District of Columbia. Further graduate studies at the Howard University School of Divinity. She is listed in "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges" and "Who's Who in America."

She has served numerous churches as choir director, minister of music, pianist, organist, and music consultant for more than thirty years in the Metropolitan Area. As a music educator, has twenty two years of service to the District Columbia Public School System (K thru 12th). She is also a licensed Professional Barber-Stylist.

In June 1992, preached her trial sermon and was licensed by the Old Samaritan Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. Served as Pulpit Assistant and Director of Outreach Ministry. In February 1994, joined the Allen Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C. where she was licensed and later ordained in 1997 by Bishop Vinton R. Anderson of the Washington Conference Second Episcopal District. Served on the Ministerial Staff, Hospital/Nursing Ministry, New Member's Class of Instruction and Music Ministry. She served as Minister to Liturgy and Worship at the First AME Church of Alexandria, VA. She has been blessed to minister at Woman's conferences, workshops, Woman's Day and Missionary Day worship services in the Metropolitan area.

Presently, she serves on the Ministerial Staff and the assistant Minister of Music at the Turner Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Church in Hyattsville, MD and the Music Teacher at Smothers and LaSalle Elementary Schools in Washington, D.C.
